what the wild path looks like!
When we began to ask ourselves what Wild on the Path should look like it began a journey of discovery. It has been bourne from a desire to walk in the ways and rhythms of Jesus' nature while at the same time being sent out while we walk the Wild Path of Jesus.. As we began to Easy Yoke with Jesus and accept His invitation to learn of Him in Matthew 11:25-30. (Find the Easy Yoke Here!) we began to see His rhythms more simplistically and clearly; Experiencing the ways that He introduced ecclesia to His followers on what we can only describe as a Wild Path!
I firmly believe that Jesus' model for the ecclesia (from the Greek ekklēsia, meaning "called-out assembly") was not centered on building a religious institution, but on a dynamic, relational, and mission-oriented lifestyle that challenged the "command-and-control" systems of his day.
In the ancient world, an ecclesia was a secular political assembly of citizens summoned to govern a city. By using this term in Matthew 16:18, Jesus modeled a community with "executive" authority to advance the Kingdom of God, rather than a passive religious gathering. That authority was given to Him by His Father and then He provided Himself as a means to practice that authority through Him. In John 17:12, part of Jesus's "High Priestly Prayer," He gives an account of His Ministry and He tells Father He has kept His disciples and none were lost except Judas, fulfilling Scripture. Even as He prepares to leave the world He was providing the example for His disciples to experience being sent out in all authority to live out ecclesia and thrive as His followers.
This is just our simple explanation of Jesus' model of a decentralized, relational "called-out gatherings" (ecclesia) and contemporary rhythms for living it out.
In light of these considerations we have formed together as a Christian, Family Service, Non-Profit Organization that desires simplicity in our daily living, As I have mentioned already, It all started with a small group of men who are all learning how to thrive as leaders as we connect each other with the Path of Jesus. For many of us who have already embarked on this journey, there are many things and times that have seemed impossible, but have become possible! He has repaired relationships, provided in ways not thought possible, answered prayers, fixed damaged hearts, and reframed our perspective on what it really means to follow Jesus. Now we have embarked on a journey of enjoying our union with God and the path that He has been taking us down is making more sense that it ever has. The Path is hard climbing sometimes but we are finding that the walk is worth every step. We pray that you will too!
We believe that Jesus is at work in us even in and through our brokenness! He loves you and has great plans for you even if your are the most broken! We want to help others identify the works and gifts that He has been doing in His people all along, We desire to adjust our listening so that we don't miss any more opportunities to hear how he speaks uniquely to each of us individually. To understand the work that He has been doing in our story and your story, and how that fits into the narrative of Gods story!
It goes without saying that doing life on the Wild Path of Jesus in this way is going to look different that what you are used to. You might get resistance from your friends or families, even from the religious sector. That's ok! (Remember when they got ticked off about Jesus healing a man on the Sabbath?) The work we believe the Lord is doing at Wild on the Path would appear to be unconventional and outside of the box by today's cultural standards but! We are ok with listening and following His lead! Just know that if you haven't seen us; We're on the Go, sent out and loving every minute of it!

Wild Path Family Resources
We gather around the fire to listen to what the Holy Spirit would say to us (personally). It is not a bible study and it is not a place where we discuss our own theological views, doctrines, methods, or christian preferences. Simply put... It is an invitation to be challenged in our personal relationship and comunique with Jesus to become better leaders in our homes, community, and to the people we love. We do this by talking about the things we as men are all challenged with, inviting the Holy Spirit to speak and resonate with us. We pray through applicable passages of scripture in conversations with the Father; Asking the Spirit to reveal the work He wants to do in us personally so that it becomes an outflow of the nature and personality of Jesus in our lives.. After we have had some time to enjoy our Easy Yoke with Jesus, we finish up with a time of sharing what the Holy Spirit is challenging us with personally in our own stories; giving the folks we are walking with the opportunity to listen and work through it on their own terms and through the work of the Holy Spirit.

So Jesus responded, “I don’t teach my own ideas, but the truth revealed to me by the One who sent me. If you want to test my
teachings and discover where I received them, first be passionate to do God’s will, and then you will be able to discern if
my teachings are from the heart of God or from my own opinions. Jn 7:16-17

GRATITUDE GIVING
WILD ON THE PATH and its various types of ministries are supported by the practice of Gratitude Giving. What is gratitude giving? Gratitude is a thankful appreciation for what an individual receives, whether tangible or intangible. With gratitude, people acknowledge the goodness in their lives. In the process, people usually recognize that the source of that goodness lies at least partially outside themselves. This practice is in keeping with – 2 Corinthians 9:6-9:7 NIV “Remember this: Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” In a nutshell, If you are glad or thankful to be involved with any aspect of Wild on the Path then it is a great place to practice gratitude!
