To understand how everything works here some things to note!
- Our Backcountry Xcursion Routes fund the ministry of "The Redeemed Adventure Project" providing healing and spiritual growth through outdoor adventure and redeeming story. We make them available to the folks who support this ministry with a donation of $15 per month. This will allow full access to every BXR that we have compiled over 25 years of backcountry adventure so that you can get out and explore on your own!
- Single Event Access for our Backcountry Maps and information is given to those who purchase a spot for a BXR event. The price to attended the event will be posted on our schedule and access to the maps and information is granted after your selection and purchase has been made. All proceeds go towards the costs of the organization, development, hundreds of hours of BXR planning, web resources, and map building. Beyond that it is supposed to cover the expenses incurred by IRR to run Backcountry events. The bottom line is this…. The IRR owners provided over 24 thousand dollars of there personal savings and earnings for the business over the last 2 years and stayed operational despite the onslaught of State and Government mandates. That being said, The present minimal costs associated with registration don’t begin to cover our expenses but have been set to help us re-enter the Adventure scene with fresh opportunities, and a broader client base with offerings to multiple backcountry emphasis’. If we don’t begin to pull ourselves out of this slump. Honestly, we won’t be here next year.
- To help with determining which BXR is right for you, please call John at 541-621-8814. Be sure to leave a message so that you don't look like a spammer!
- Information in regards to retreats, special ministry events for men like Boondock Squat'n, and single day events, are public information for everyone to see. These events all have a cost and require registration to attend with exception to Day Rides which require no cost or registration. If there is a cost or registration requirement it will be provided in the schedule below below for each public event.
- All of our BXR events will be focused on missional /ministry opportunity’s. The Lord not only teaches us on Adventure but we want to be ready to share the Good News of Jesus with those who the Lord brings into our adventures!
- Looking forward to serving together on adventure/mission!

IRR - I RIDE ROGUE & ROAM - ROGUE OUTDOOR ADVENTURE MOVEMENT
All Backcountry Xcursion Routes can be explored by a variety of transportation. We travel via Motorcycle, SUV, RV, and ATV. Some routes will are easily explored in a regular passenger car but it will be up to you to determine how far you will go based on the route information that we give you. It is safe to say that most high clearance vehicles will go places that I wouldn't take a loaded adventure bike and that it can generally all be seen from the comfort of a sturdy vehicle. These trips offer everything from remote country roads to off highway gravel roads that travel long distances to their next paved opportunity. You determine how you stay there whether it be by camping or lodging along the way. Enjoy!
